We have been following Moreland & Arbuckle at the Depot in Shenandoah, IA since 2005 and we consider them to be the best three piece around today. Since my son Eric has seen them at Knuckleheads in Kansas City, he has started playing the harmonica. We also played one of their songs on our birthday(both on Feb 1) radio show on KKFI-FM in Kansas City recently.

Gentlemen, you made a long journey up to Pr George BC, Canada, in January for our Coldsnap 2009 Winter Music Festival. It was cold outside, but inside on the dance floor it was smokin'. I dug that crazy cigarbox guitar and the harp playing was righteous. Many thanks from PG! Come back again sometime. We'll be spreading the word.

Hey there,
I would like to thank you for performing for our troups in Iraq. I can not tell
how wonderful it is to see the faces of our young enjoying the blues. What
better way to expose them to our American roots music and to see them
relax and have some fun.
I have a son over there and feel so appreciative of your efforts.
Thanks again,
Suki

August 2, 2008

At first I thought there was no way a band can play a full sound without a bass player. But Damn!, I am totally wrong. The sound of M&A is nearly larger than any whale. Bigger than all the 5-6 piece horn bands we hear at all these blues festivals.

bruce glor

You guys are awesome. I listen to Bluesvile on XM whenever I am out in my yard or in my pool. I was in my pool and your song Pittsburg In The Morning played and flipped up on my TV screen. I jumped out of the pool and wrote down your name and album title. You guys are damn good. I just bought your 1861 CD. You guys need people to hear you. I hope you find that right situation that gets everyone to notice. I will spread the word in my world. Freak'in awesome talent and down home soul delivery is my assessment. You can quote me on that if you like.

You guys rock this otherwise nerdy 41 year-old science teacher's behind! I have been an avid Blues listener (and trying to play such on my own guitar) for nearly 20 years; everything from Muddy to Sonny Landreth, from Charlie Patton to Pink Anderson, but you guys are now atop my list. Keep rockin' those Blues boys!! Love it!

People were walking away from Isac Hayes to go over and listen to your music. Keep it up and we will see you guys back out here in September!1

A hello to Dustin Arbuckle. You may not remember me, however, your dad and my stepfather hunted together in the small KS town of Barnard. You used to come up for hunting trips. I remember you as a small tyke. Saw your promotion on the tv the other day and my parents said that was "little Dustin Arbuckle". Wow! Congratulations and best of luck to you in the future!
