I’m down in Columbia sc. Sorry I won’t be able to catch either of your two shows close by tonight or tomorrow in Atlanta. You guys are doing something very powerful. I have already bought a couple copies of the Flood and 1861 (at Papa Jazz). I have been listening to The Flood for a few weeks now. Very impressive. I just started on 1861 about a week ago. Again, very impressive. I can’t believe you guys will be opening for somebody else for long. If you ever make it back to Columbia SC I’d love to see you. I’m getting a little old for road trips. If you are half as impressive live as the studio work I would hate to be the band who has to follow that! Good luck. Have a great show. PJ

Saw you when you were last at the Porcupine Mountains Music Festival (near Ontonagon Michigan and the great Lake Superior!!) You are both super and great musicians. I love your style. I see you will be at the Marquette (MI) Blues Festival on Labor Day weekend. I would make the 2 hour drive to see you except that I have a prior commitment that I cannot get out of!! Dang! Have a great time. The people there are super. Say "hi" to Cheryl for me.

I am bummed! I made the drive from K C to Park City on saturday, just to see my favorite blues duo, and they get axed from the show due to weather. What I don't understand is why they didn't have you play inside when there was an hour and a half of no music before Robert Randolf played. I think this was a huge FUBAR on the part of the promoter. If you guys read this, please try to get back to K C soon. we love you here!

We were very upset that you were bumped at the Hartman Arena. We booked our tickets as soon as we heard you were playing and payed the extra for the so-called "VIP" package so we could get the better seats. Personally, they could have bumped Johnny Lang for you.

Caught this band at the Sasktel Jazz festival in Saskatoon. A real holy crap who are these guys moment.
When the festival in Saskatoon seems to be moving away from blues, and into hip hop, pop and (barf), country, it was sure nice to have pure kick ass blues playing in our city. Come back soon!

I just discovered you guys thanks to Buddy Guy, in Portlan OR last weekend, what an awesome show, i haven't enjoyed new music (new to me)as much as that in a long time (usually listening to the blues channel on cable tv) I am the guy who insulted Dustin at your merc table regarding the depth of sound from one guitar, again i appoligize for saying he doesn't do anything, i think you understood what i meant, but either way what a show, can't wait to see you again.

I used your video John Henry in our harmonica class the Blues Society of the Ozarks conducts for the Division of Youth Services. The purpose was how you guys can take traditional music & make it your own. Plus I wanted to show them how cool roots music is! You helped inspire our class of 11 boys to write their own song based on a blues shuffle. Thanks guys, I'm love your music. & I'm proud to share it with our young people.

Saw you at Cray/Lang show. I've seen a lot of bands in my time and I got to say, you guys by far were the best opening act I've ever heard. It's great to hear such soul and originality. That "Cigar Box" blew me away, great harp, great percussions!! Come back to Chicago, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Man, I have to say that you guys totally ruled the Cray/Lang show. I had never heard of you, and had NO IDEA there was going to be an warm-up act.
You 3-, small band, with a huge sound won the entire crowd over. All anyone talked about all night was Moreland * Arbuckle. Thanks.

Moving to Maine, replaced my old tattered well-loved-well-worn 1861 recently because -NOTHING moves me cross country or otherwise- quite like Moreland & Arbuckle.
